Zhucheng Xinridong Machinery | Sep 22, 2026 | Proposal No.: XRD-2026-0922-TG20
1. Plant-Sizing Justification
1.1 County Baseline Data (Published Statistics)
| Indicator | Value | Source |
| Permanent population | 112,600 | Tonggu County 2024 National Economic and Social Development Statistical Bulletin |
| Urban permanent population (basis) | 65,200 | Same source (urbanization rate 57.93%) |
| Annual visitors | 16.35 million | 2024 county tourism statistics (Tianzhufeng, Tangli, Qixingling scenic areas) |
| Municipal solid waste collected countywide | 90+ t/d | Yichun municipal government public report, 2026 |
1.2 Food Waste Generation Estimate (Three Cross-Checking Methods)
| Method | Calculation | Result (t/d) |
Coefficient method (per CJJ184 national standard) | Urban population 65,200 × 0.1 kg/(cap·d) × correction 1.15 (tourism-driven urban district) ÷ 1000 | ~7.5 |
| Tourism meal conversion | ~45,000 daily visitors × 1.5 meals × 0.06 kg/meal ≈ 4 t/d; after on-site consumption at scenic areas, ~50–60% enters the county collection system | ~2–2.5 |
| MSW share back-calculation | 90+ t/d MSW × food-waste share 12–20% | 11–18 |
| Theoretical countywide generation (cross-check) | Methods ①+② sum to 9.5–10 t/d (county town); method ③ covers all townships and sits at the upper bound | ~10–15 |
1.3 Collection-Rate Discount and Recommended Capacity
| Phase | Collection rate | Actual inbound (t/d) |
| Early operation (1–2 yr; ramp-up of connection, merchants cautious) | 50–60% | 5–9 |
| Stable operation (full collection, routine enforcement) | 75–85% | 8–12 |
| Long-term (township expansion + visitor growth + 90%+ collection) | 90%+ | 12–15+ |
Recommended design capacity: 20 t/d
Based on 8–12 t/d inbound in the stable period, plus ample margin for long-term township expansion and higher collection rates.
Select equipment for 20 t/d in Phase 1 to avoid saturation-on-completion and wasteful secondary expansion.
2. Basic Design Conditions
| Item | Content |
| Waste handled | Food waste from restaurants, canteens of government offices and schools (food scraps, processing residues, waste cooking oil); compatible with organic waste from farmers' markets |
| Collection & feeding | 120L/240L standard food-waste bins + 5-t collection truck; weighed and tipped |
| Oil | Crude grease extracted into oil tank, sold as raw material for biodiesel / industrial grease |
| Water | Treated wastewater discharged up-to-standard into municipal sewer (or into leachate treatment unit) |
| Residue | Organic residue bagged and sold (organic fertilizer feedstock / black soldier fly farming); inorganic impurities dewatered then incinerated / landfilled |
| Workshop | Frame/light-steel workshop ~500–600 m², hardened floor, fully enclosed under negative pressure |
3. Process Flow
Truck/bin → Weighing & metering → Discharge hopper → Hydraulic Pulping & Sorting Machine(pulping·sorting·dewatering integrated)
→ Holding tank → Heating tank(direct steam 60–80℃) → Desander → Three-phase separator
├─ Oil phase → oil tank storage → oil transfer pump → sold as industrial crude grease
├─ Water phase → discharged up-to-standard to sewer
└─ Solid phase → organic residue bin → fertilizer feedstock / BSF farming / incineration-landfill
Inorganic impurities: dewatered in the pulping-sorting machine (moisture ≤20%) → residue bin for haul-away
Whole workshop: negative-pressure enclosure + acid/alkali scrubbing + photo-oxidation deodorization, PLC centralized control
Process summary: Food waste is weighed and tipped into the receiving hopper; the Hydraulic Pulping & Sorting Machine completes pulping, sorting and dewatering in one pass — breaking organics without damaging inorganics, with impurity moisture below 20%. The slurry flows by gravity into a holding tank and is pumped to a heating tank for direct steam heating at 60–80℃, liquefying animal fat and reducing viscosity; after a desander removes grit, it enters the three-phase separator and is split into oil, water and residue for separate resource recovery. High-temperature treatment fully inactivates pathogens; the whole process is sealed with no odor release.
Key Points by Subsystem
- Weighing & metering: automatically records every bin/truck weight, providing the basis for metered charging and government settlement
- Hydraulic Pulping & Sorting Machine: only 2 minutes from feed to sorted, dewatered discharge; sorted impurities contain no organics or oil
- Heating & cooking system: direct steam with automatic temperature control; higher grease recovery than room-temperature processes
- Three-phase separator: allows 10 mm feed particle size (conventional units only 3 mm), low failure rate, clean oil output
- Deodorization: negative-pressure collection at 8,000 m³/h; acid wash + alkali wash + photo-oxidation combined treatment up to discharge standard

5. Project Schedule
| No. | Work item | Duration |
| 1 | Construction design & technical selection | 15 days |
| 2 | Equipment manufacturing | 40 working days |
| 3 | On-site installation, commissioning + trial-run training | 15–20 days |
| Total project duration (overlapping) | ~2 months |
6. Operating Revenue & Payback
6.1 Revenue Estimate (Tiered Sensitivity)
| Inbound | Treatment-fee revenue (10k/yr) @ 200 RMB/t | Crude-oil revenue (10k/yr) @ 2.5% oil content, 7 RMB/kg | Residue/fertilizer (10k/yr) | Total revenue (10k/yr) |
| 8 t/d (early) | 58 | 51 | 3 | 112 |
| 12 t/d (stable) | 88 | 77 | 4 | 169 |
| 16 t/d (after expansion) | 117 | 102 | 6 | 225 |
| 20 t/d (full load) | 146 | 128 | 7 | 281 |
📌 Jiangxi county treatment-fee benchmark: 180–231 RMB/t (Pengze 180; Yanshan BOT 231). Actual unit price is subject to the franchising agreement with the county government and is not guaranteed. Crude-oil revenue depends on oil content — always sample and test local food waste before signing (canteens vs. restaurants differ greatly).
6.2 Operating Cost (Stable period @ 12 t/d)
| Cost item | Basis | Amount (10k/yr) |
| Electricity | 1,300–1,800 kWh/d × 0.65 RMB | 31–43 |
| Steam fuel | Steam generator (biomass / gas / electric; per local energy price) | 8–12 |
| Labor | 4 on-site staff (1 station chief + 2 operators + 1 maintenance) | 20–24 |
| Consumables + maintenance | Deodorization chemicals, lubricants, wear parts | 8–12 |
| Total cost | | 67–91 |
6.3 Net Revenue & Payback Period
| Scenario | Annual revenue (10k) | Annual cost (10k) | Annual net (10k) | Payback* |
| Early, 8 t/d | 112 | 67–91 | 21–45 | — |
| Stable, 12 t/d | 169 | 67–91 | 78–102 | ~4–5 yr |
| Full load, 20 t/d | 281 | 75–100 | 181–206 | ~2–3 yr |
* Payback is estimated on total investment of equipment 260 + civil works ~100 ≈ 360 (excluding land and collection vehicles). Aim for an 8–10 year franchising term; after the 4–5 year payback in the stable period, it becomes pure profit. Every 0.5 percentage point of oil content adds ~150k RMB annual revenue — that is why we insist on the heating-extraction process.
7. Commercial Terms
- Quotation is tax-inclusive, freight-excluded; includes installation supervision and 3-day operator training
- Payment: 30% advance, balance before shipment (flexible per contract milestones)
- Manufacturing lead time 40 working days; total project duration ~2 months
- Main equipment in stainless steel; warranty per contract; lifelong spare-parts supply
- We can help draft the process proposal and support EIA and franchising bid technical documents
8. Items to be Settled
| No. | Item | Impact |
| 1 | Franchising / disposal permit path with the county urban-management bureau (tender or filing) | Legality prerequisite for the project |
| 2 | Negotiation of treatment fee and minimum-volume clause | The most critical revenue variable |
| 3 | Local food-waste oil-content sampling & testing | Basis for crude-oil revenue |
| 4 | Site (~2,000 m²), power capacity (~150 kVA), steam energy choice | Civil works & operating cost |
| 5 | Wastewater connection conditions (sewer distance & water-quality requirements) | Wastewater outlet & cost |
| 6 | Local recovery channels for crude oil and residue | Realization of resource-recovery revenue |
